Dr. Manish Aggarwal

Dr. Aggarwal is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and co-founder of Sacramento NeuroPsych Associates, where he provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and advanced treatments including TMS Therapy and Spravato for patients across Folsom, Rocklin, and telehealth throughout California. He is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Education & Training

Dr. Aggarwal completed his medical training at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in Ludhiana, India (1998–2004), earning his M.D. before moving to England for postgraduate psychiatric training. There, from 2004 to 2007, he worked as a Senior House Officer (the UK equivalent of a US resident) in psychiatry as part of his postgraduate psychiatric training in England.

He moved to the United States in 2007 and completed his psychiatric residency at Case Western Reserve University (MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland) from 2008 to 2011, where he was elected Senior Resident for Academic Affairs and later Chief Resident.

He went on to complete his Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2013, serving as Chief Fellow in his second year.

Career

After graduation, Dr. Aggarwal joined Cleveland Clinic's Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry as an attending physician, working in the pediatric inpatient unit from 2013 to 2015, before relocating to Sacramento, California.

He then joined the California Correctional Health System as a Staff Psychiatrist, where he was promoted to Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor. In 2017, he joined Dr. Sekhon's private practice, which has since grown from a single office in Folsom into Sacramento NeuroPsych Associates, with a second location in Rocklin and a third location opening soon in Natomas. The practice introduced TMS Therapy in 2018 and Spravato in 2023.

Outside the Office

In his free time, Dr. Aggarwal enjoys traveling, reading and hanging out with his family.
