Career & Training

Dr. Navneet Khroud, MD is a psychiatrist with specialized training in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is originally from California and completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Biology at the University of California, Davis before earning her medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine.

Dr. Khroud completed her General Psychiatry residency at Tower Health – Phoenixville Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she received comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Her residency emphasized evidence-based, patient-centered care and included exposure to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles. She values incorporating psychoeducation and brief therapeutic techniques into her clinical work when appropriate.

She returned to California to complete her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Kaweah Health Hospital in Visalia, located in the Central Valley. During her fellowship, Dr. Khroud worked closely with children, adolescents, and families, gaining experience addressing developmental, emotional, and behavioral concerns across diverse clinical settings. She recently completed her fellowship and looks forward to working with both children and adults.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Khroud enjoys bird watching and training her parrots, interests that reflect her appreciation for animal behavior. She also enjoys drawing as a creative outlet.
