Dr. Samita Chandi is a board-certified psychiatrist whose approach to care is holistic — she considers the biological, psychological, and social factors that shape each patient's mental health, and builds every treatment plan in partnership with the people she treats.

Experience: A graduate of the UCLA/VA Greater Los Angeles Psychiatry Program, Dr. Chandi's career spans outpatient, community mental health, and acute care psychiatry, including work with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine. She served as Chief Resident at Beaumont Hospital, where she later received the Beaumont Wellness Award, and has volunteered her clinical expertise during community crises, including providing mental health support in the aftermath of the Oxford High School tragedy.

She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and contributes to mentorship through SAMHIN. Her research has been presented at the APA Annual Meeting.
