Career and Training

Dr. Reddy was born and raised in southern India and comes from a long lineage of medical professionals, being the fourth generation in her family to pursue a career in medicine. However, she is the first psychiatrist in her family, a distinction she takes pride in.

Her passion for psychiatry was sparked by witnessing the pervasive stigma surrounding mental health issues in India and globally. Determined to make a difference, she has since dedicated her career to providing quality mental health care and breaking down barriers to treatment.

After completing her residency in 2011, Dr. Reddy began working as an Adult Psychiatrist at a community clinic. Her clinical focus has been on individuals in the reproductive age group and those affected by trauma, providing personalized care and support for these populations. She relocated to California in 2018, where she continues her work in psychiatry, helping her patients navigate mental health challenges and improve their quality of life.
