I think that without the treatment my life would be very different. This is not the first time I've had the treatment and I feel like it always has a positive benefit for a long time.

The most notable benefit was an improvement in my ability to control my compulsion, and resist responding to those compulsions, such as delaying or refusing handwashing. The intrusive thoughts are still there, but I have a little better control over compulsions that come with it.
